Overview
You can manage taxes from different areas in the Field Mobile App such as adding tax zones, adjusting taxes on invoices, and making invoice items taxable. This helps you ensure you're billing your customers accurately.
Note: To manage taxes, you need specific permissions enabled. But even without those permissions, you can still view tax information.

The Set tax status by invoice item, Edit invoice tax amounts, and Edit invoice tax zone permissions are required to use this feature. Please contact the account administrator on your team.
Things to know
The names of certain screens, tabs, and so on may be different based on your selection in Menu
> Settings. For more, see Show Residential or Commercial terms in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.
Add or edit tax zone on job location in the Field Mobile App
Open the job and tap the Job tab.
In the Location section, tap Tax Zone.
On the Tax Zone screen, select a tax zone.
Set invoice items as taxable in the Field Mobile App
Open your job and:
If your default terminology is set to Residential, tap the Invoice tab.
If your default terminology is set to Commercial, tap the or Work Summary tab.
In the Invoice/Line Items section, tap View.
On the screen that opens, tap an invoice item.
On the item that opens, select Taxable.
Tap Update.
Add or edit tax amount on invoice in the Field Mobile App
Open your job and:
If your default terminology is set to Residential, tap the Invoice tab.
If your default terminology is set to Commercial, tap the or Work Summary tab.
In the Invoice/Line Items section, tap View.
On the screen that opens, tap Edit Tax.
Enter or edit the tax amount.
Tap Save.
