How to remove purchase order sources from unscheduled jobs?

Problem

You tied a PO to the wrong project and need to remove the source of the PO. The PO is in pending status.

Solution

Confirm that the purchase order (PO) is accurately updated and not mistakenly linked to any incorrect job or project.

Remove purchase order sources from unscheduled job

1. Open ServiceTitan and log in to your account.

2. Go to the main dashboard.

3. Find the project or job you accidentally tied the PO to.

4. Click on the project or job to open its details.

5. Look for the PO number you need to remove.        

   Note: It should be listed under the project or job details.

6. Click the PO number to view its details.

7. Find the Actions dropdown menu. It's usually located near the top of the PO details page.

8. Click the Action dropdown.

9. Select the option to remove or edit the PO. This option allows you to make changes to the PO.

10. Remove any information that is not a required field. This includes removing the job or project the PO was incorrectly tied to.

11. Save your changes. Make sure the PO no longer shows the wrong job or project as its source.

12. Verify that the PO is now in the correct status and not tied to any job or project.

By following these steps, you can successfully remove a PO source from a job that has not been scheduled yet.
