How do I get my client ID and secret for my Zapier app?

Problem

The Zapier app created in Developer Portal does not show Client ID and Client Secret options.

Solution

Workflow Summary

  1. Go to Settings in the top toolbar.

  2. In the side panel, go to Integrations > API Application Access.

  3. Click Connect New App.

  4. Find your Zapier app using the App ID from the Developer Portal.

  5. Select the Zapier app to connect it.

  6. Return to the API Application Access page in ServiceTitan.

  7. Locate your connected Zapier app.

  8. Generate your Client ID and Client Secret from the connected app.

Note: These instructions only apply to the Zapier application Client ID and Secret. If you wish to have the Client ID and Secret generated for an application created in the Developer Portal, follow the steps mentioned in Get started with API dev portal V2.
