How can I fix custom PDF forms not loading in ServiceTitan Mobile?

Problem

Technicians can't open custom fillable PDF forms in the ServiceTitan mobile app. The error message displayed is: "Error: could not open the form."

Solution

Fully close the ServiceTitan app

Before uninstalling or reinstalling the app, ensure it's fully closed:

  1. On iOS:        

    1. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the middle to view open apps.

    2. Locate the ServiceTitan app and swipe up on it to close.

  2. On Android:        

    1. Tap the square or recent apps icon at the top bottom right.

    2. Find the ServiceTitan app and swipe it away or tap Close All.

  3. Reopen the app and check if the issue is resolved.

Uninstall and reinstall the ServiceTitan app

If the issue persists, proceed with uninstalling and reinstalling:

  1. Press and hold the ServiceTitan app icon on your home screen.

  2. Tap Uninstall (Android) or Remove App > Delete App (iOS).

  3. Open the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS).

  4. Search for ServiceTitan.

  5. Tap Install to download and install the app.

  6. Launch the app and log in with your technician credentials.

  7. Go to the Forms section and try opening a custom fillable PDF form.
