Overview

Fleet Pro Service Entry on Mobile lets field technicians log vehicle service records directly from the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App. Instead of waiting to return to the office, technicians can open the Field Mobile App, access the Fleet Pro Service Entry, and record service details in real time while still on the job site. This eliminates the delay between completing vehicle maintenance and logging the record, which helps improve data accuracy and reduce administrative overhead.

What you need to know about Fleet Pro Service Entry in the Field Mobile App

How the service entry form works

The service entry form is a three-step guided workflow that walks technicians through logging a complete vehicle service record:

  • Step 1—Service Details: Enter the VIN, select a service category, and enter the date the service was performed.

  • Step 2—Services: Select the service type and enter the cost. Multiple service line items can be added if more than one service was performed.

  • Step 3—Additional Details: If needed, enter the service center, invoice number, notes—such as the current odometer reading—and attach any supporting files, such as receipts or photos.

After submission, the form closes and the technician returns to the Field Mobile App.

Key things to keep in mind

  • Internet connection required: This feature requires an active network connection. Technicians cannot create or submit service entries while offline.

  • Service Entry only: This feature provides access to the Fleet Pro Service Entry workflow only. It does not provide access to other Fleet Pro features such as Live Map, Fleet Data, or Reports from the Field Mobile App.

  • No changes to existing workflows: The service entry form is the same form used on desktop. No new fields, steps, or options have been added specifically for mobile.

Who benefits from this feature

Any technician who performs vehicle maintenance as part of their job benefits from this feature. Common scenarios include logging oil changes, brake replacements, tire rotations, and other routine services immediately after completing the work. By capturing details in real time, technicians ensure service records are accurate and complete without relying on memory or paper notes.
