Adding an External After Hours Number in Dialpad App

Problem

When trying to add an external number in the Dialpad app, it doesn't save the number when entered in the closed hours routing section.

Solution

  1. Go to Settings in Dialpad.com

  2. Select Departments.

  3. Click on Main Line call flow dept.

  4. Locate Business Hours Call Routing

  5. Click on the Edit Call Routing option.

  6. Select Closed Hours Routing.

  7. Locate the To a team member/room phone/external number option and enter the external number you want to add.

  8. Press Enter to save the changes.

  9. Refresh your screen if the number doesn't show up.

  10. Check the Main Line call routing section to ensure the number is added.        

    Note: If the number still doesn't show up, clear your cache and try again.
