How to change the Main Line number in Dialpad

Problem

You've added a new number in Dialpad, but it became the primary number. You want to make the primary number the old number.

Solution

The last number you add as an office number in ServiceTitan becomes the Primary Number under the Main Line numbers in DialPad. You can't make the change in Dialpad, but you can in ServiceTitan.

  1. Go to ServiceTitan and click on Settings > Phones Pro > Phone Numbers.

  2. Locate the number you want to be the Primary Number.

  3. Hover over the number and click on the Edit icon.

  4. Locate the Assign Number to Target drop down menu.

  5. Open the drop down menu and select the Office name. Then click Save.
    This makes the number the Primary one under the Main line.

  6. To verify, go to DialPad and click on Settings > Main line. You will see the updated primary number.

To add a non-primary number in Dialpad:

  1. Add a new number in ServiceTitan software by navigating to Settings > Phones Pro > Phone Numbers add the number to the Reserve Pool.

  2. Go to your Admin Settings in DialPad.

  3. Go to Main Line and manually add the number by clicking Add Number.
