Overview
Cache is stored bits of data of configurations or user choices helping the applications load faster and reduce the data retrieval time for the next time you use the apps. Glitches and problems may arise from errors or conflicting data stored in the system. To address software performance issues, we recommend regularly clearing the cache of your browser and Dialpad app.

Things to know
The Embedded Dialer and the Web version of Dialpad affect your browser's cache.
For your Dialpad Desktop or Mobile Apps, the issue might come from the application's cache.
Clear cache in Chrome
On your computer, open Google Chrome.
At the top right, click More
and then Delete browsing data.
A new window opens.Select the Advanced tab.
From the Time range dropdown, select All time.
Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
Click Clear data.

Clear cache in Dialpad desktop app
For Windows:
Press the Alt key on your keyboard.
On the new menu, click Help.
Select Clear Cache.

For MAC:
Open the app and click Help on the upper menu.
Select Clear Cache.

Clear app data
For Windows:
Press the Alt key on your keyboard.
On the new menu, click Help.
Select Toggle Developer Tools.
Click the Double Arrows on the top bar and select Application.

On the Applications tab select Clear storage.
Click Clear site data.
For MAC:
Open the app and click Help on the upper menu.
Select Toggle Developer Tools.
Click the Double Arrows on the top bar and select Application.
On the Applications tab select Clear storage.
Click Clear site data.
