Add equipment, location, and form findings to estimates in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App

Overview

If your account is configured for it, you can create an estimate while creating an equipment or location finding or attach findings to an existing estimate. This allows you, the office, and your customer to know why you made those recommendations based on your findings. Review your findings with the customer so they can decide which estimate to authorize.

Tip: If the video doesn't play in full screen, tap More then Fit Screen .

  • The Field Mobile App is optimized for iOS, iPadOS, and Android phones and tablets. For more, see System requirements and mobile app information.

  • If you're using the Field Mobile App and need support, please contact (through the office) or reach out directly to support@servicetitan.com.

  • This feature is currently in Private Preview and available for specific accounts. It is subject to change. If you want to enable this feature for your account, join the waitlist here.

  • Account configuration is required to use this feature. Please contact your office for details.

Create an estimate from a template while creating a finding in the Field Mobile App

  1. Create an equipment finding or a general location finding.

  2. After you enter the required information for the finding, tap Save & Create Estimate.

  3. On the screen that opens, select if you want to include the finding description and summary on the estimate then tap Estimate from templateUser interface showing options to create an estimate from a template or custom estimate.

  4. On the Proposal templates screen that opens, select the template you want to use. List of proposal templates with a highlighted option for Compressor Replacement.

  5. On the window that opens, select the options you want to include the finding on then tap Add Finding to EstimateComparison of compressor replacement options with pricing and item counts listed.

  6. On the Estimates screen that opens, present the proposal to the customer.

Create a custom estimate while creating a finding in the Field Mobile App

  1. Create an equipment finding or a general location finding.

  2. After you enter the required information for the finding, tap Save & Create Estimate.

  3. On the screen that opens, select if you want to include the finding description and summary on the estimate then tap Custom estimateUser interface showing options to save findings and create an estimate summary.

  4. On the custom estimate that opens, scroll to the Items section and add one or more items. Summary of compressor burnout symptoms and related findings in a mobile application interface.

  5. When finished, tap Back to finish adding the estimate.

  6. On the Estimates screen that opens, present the proposal to the customer.

Add a finding to an existing estimate while creating a finding in the Field Mobile App

  1. Create an equipment finding or a general location finding.

  2. After you enter the required information for the finding, tap Save & Create Estimate.

  3. On the screen that opens, select if you want to include the finding description and summary on the estimate then tap Add to existing estimateOptions for creating an estimate, including adding to an existing estimate.

  4. On the window that opens, select the estimate you want to add the finding to then tap ApplyOptions to add estimates with checkboxes for different service levels displayed on screen.

  5. On the Estimates screen that opens, present the proposal to the customer.

Add a finding to an existing estimate in the Field Mobile App

  1. Open the estimate you want to add an existing finding to.

  2. Tap Edit or Add next to Findings.

  3. On the Findings screen that opens, tap Add and select one of the following options:

    • Create finding: Create an equipment finding or a general location finding.

    • Create finding from form: Create an equipment finding from a form or a general location finding from a form.

      Note: The View forms permission is required to create a finding from a form. Please contact the account administrator on your team.

    • Add existing finding: Search for and add an existing finding. Findings section displaying compressor burnout and options to add findings.

Review findings while presenting estimates in the Field Mobile App

  1. Open your job and tap the Estimates tab.

  2. Tap Present Proposal.

  3. Tap the Findings tab to review your findings with the customer. AC condition assessment showing poor, fair, and good ratings with maintenance required.
