Overview

Add notes to jobs, customers, or locations in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App. Notes sync with the office, giving office employees real-time field insights.

Tip: If the video doesn't play in full screen, tap More then Fit Screen .

  • The Set notes on customer, location, or job permission is required to use this feature. Please contact the account administrator on your team.

Things to know

Add notes in the Field Mobile App

  1. Open the job and tap Add at the bottom of the screen. Job details including contact information and location for AOR Residential SP Warranty.

  2. Tap NoteMenu options for adding items, highlighting the 'Note' selection.

  3. Enter your note.

  4. Tap the Pin  icon if you want to see this note first.

  5. If your account has permission, tap the Save to dropdown to select if you want the note to be attached to the job, customer, or service location. Note section displaying customer, job, and location fields with a selected job option.

    Tip: Most notes are job-specific, but you can attach them to customer or service location records if needed. For example, add a note about a security gate code to the service location, or a customer's preferred call time to their record.

  6. When finished, tap Add (iOS) or Save (Android).

Edit notes in the Field Mobile App

  1. Open the job.

  2. Scroll to the Pinned Notes section of the Job tab and tap View All.

  3. On the Notes screen that opens, tap the note you want to edit.

  4. On the Note Details screen that opens, tap Edit Note (iOS) or (Android).

  5. Edit the note.

    Tip: If your account has permission, you can reassign the note to a different record by tapping the Save to dropdown and selecting Job, Customer, or Location.

  6. When finished, tap Save. The note updates with your edits.

The next time the Field Mobile App syncs, the edit shows in the job history on the office side.
