What is causing the membership discount to not apply to an invoice?

Problem

A membership is set to a discount % for a business unit, but the discount is not being applied to the invoice accordingly.

Solution

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Settings.

  2. In the side panel, go to Invoicing > Membership Types.

  3. Find the membership type where the discount should be applied.

  4. Under Step 1, click the Basics dropdown, and then click Discount.

  5. Make sure the discount is set accurately, and the Business Unit (BU) of the invoice is selected in the Business Units dropdown.

  6. Go to the invoice where the discount should have been applied.

  7. Make sure that the invoice is not exported.

  8. Remove the tasks and re-add them to make sure the discount is applied.
