Overview

Replace items on an estimate or invoice instead of deleting and manually re-adding them. This is more accurate and efficient because the item quantity remains the same.

Tip: If the video doesn't play in full screen, tap More then Fit Screen .

Things to know

Replace items on an invoice in the Field Mobile App

  1. Open your job and:

    • If your default terminology is set to Residential, tap the Invoice tab.

    • If your default terminology is set to Commercial, tap the Work Summary tab.

  2. Scroll to the Invoice/Line Items section and tap View.

  3. Tap Replace for the item you want to replace. Invoice showing AC unit details, pricing, and service options for replacement.

    Note: The Replace button is also available on an item's Edit details screen.

  4. After you decide which item you want to replace the original item with, tap Replace.

The replacement item appears in the place of the original item. If needed, you can adjust the quantity.

Replace items on an estimate in the Field Mobile App

  1. Open your job and:

    • If your default terminology is set to Residential, tap the Estimates tab.

    • If your default terminology is set to Commercial, tap the Proposals tab.

  2. Tap the estimate for which you want to replace items.

  3. On the estimate that opens, scroll to the Items section and tap Replace for the item you want to replace. Summary of services with labor discount and installation cost for AC unit.

    Note: The Replace button is also available on an item's Edit details screen.

  4. After you decide which item you want to replace the original item with, tap Replace.

The replacement item appears in the place of the original item. If needed, you can adjust the quantity.
