Overview
A pre-job brief is an audio summary generated by Field Pro in ServiceTitan Mobile. It gives you a quick, hands-free overview of the customer, their original call intent, recent job history, and key account details such as notes, memberships, estimates, agreements, and lifetime revenue, all available right from the Job screen.

Account configuration and office setup is required to use this feature. Please contact your office for details.
The Enable job briefs permission is required to use this feature. Please contact the account administrator on your team.
Things to know
Pre-job briefs are only available while you are on the job in mobile. They are not accessible from the office side.
Pre-job briefs are also available in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App. If you use Field Mobile App (new app) instead of ServiceTitan Mobile (legacy app), see Listen to pre-job briefs with Field Pro in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.
A pre-job brief is automatically generated once the job is assigned to you.
Once the job is updated to Completed, the brief is no longer available.

How it works
Field Pro automatically creates pre-job briefs for you by pulling key information from several areas so you have all the details you need before arriving at the job.
Note: Field Pro always surfaces the earliest call tied to the job to provide the most accurate customer context.
Here’s what Field Pro includes and where the data comes from:
Customer name: from the job or customer record.
Customer notes: from the customer profile of the current job. It takes up to 5 notes.
Location notes: from the current job’s service location. It takes up to 5 notes.
Job summary, type, duration, special instructions, and arrival window: from the active job or dispatch record.
Assigned technician: from the job assignment.
Locations count: total number of service locations for the customer.
Lifetime revenue: pulled from the customer’s financial history.
Membership status and count of active memberships: from the customer profile membership.
Open and sold estimates: from the estimate records linked to the customer.
Service agreements count: from agreements tied to the customer.
Recent jobs, five most recent: from job history, showing job type, start date, summary, and technician.
Most frequent technician at this location: based on recent job history.
Call transcript: a single earliest call linked to the job, used to capture the customer’s original reason for booking.
Field Pro brings this information together in one view so you can understand who the customer is, what the job involves, and any history or context that helps you deliver a better experience on site.
Listen to pre-job briefs in ServiceTitan Mobile
Open your current job and tap Dispatch.
The Try listening to the job Brief pop-up opens with the Job Brief summary audio:
Click Play
to listen to the job brief.
If you don’t want to listen to the job brief now, click Listen Later.

If you don’t want to see the pop-up again across all jobs, click Don’t show again.

When finished, click

Listen to pre-job briefs from the job page in ServiceTitan Mobile
If you choose Listen Later in the Try Listening to the Job Brief pop-up, you can still access and play the pre-job brief from the job screen.
Open your current job and tap Play
next to the Job Brief.
