Manually add a replacement opportunity tag to a job
Reminder: You should not need to use this process in most cases. ServiceTitan automatically assigns replacement opportunity tags to jobs if you have done the required setup. For more, see Set up your account for replacement opportunities.
If the equipment type has a replacement age, replacement tags will automatically be generated, whether the equipment is from pricebook or manually entered. Tags won’t be generated on the Location screen if the equipment lacks an equipment type, regardless of its source.
To manually add a replacement opportunity tag to a job:
Go to Search > Job to find the desired job.
Click Edit
on the job page.
Enter the replacement opportunity tag in the Tags field.

When finished, click Save.
Add a replacement opportunity tag to a job type
You can add a replacement opportunity tag to a job type if you have a specific job type for an installation job or installation estimate.
Note: When you add a replacement opportunity tag to a job type, jobs booked with this job will be included in replacement opportunity data.
Every job booked with this job type will automatically be given a replacement opportunity tag regardless of whether or not there is installed equipment in the service location record.
To add a replacement opportunity tag to a job type:
Go to the navigation bar and click Settings
.In the side panel, click Operations > Job Types.
Click Edit next to the desired job type.
Add the replacement opportunity tag in the Tags field.

When finished, click Save.
Run the Customer by Equipment Age Report
Use the Customer by Equipment Age Report to identify replacement opportunities.
This report provides you with a list of customers with installed equipment, and you can run the report for a specific equipment type past a certain age.
You may run the report on a one-time basis or schedule the report to be sent to you regularly:
Go to the navigation bar and click Reports.
In the side menu, click Legacy Reports.
Enter Customer by Equipment Age in the Search by a report’s name field.
Click the name of the report.
To receive the report regularly, click Schedule.
Note: You can set parameters for when the report automatically runs.

Enter the desired report filters.
Use the Minimum Age field to search for equipment past a certain age. You can set an As Of date.
Use the Equipment Type field to filter for a specific equipment type.
For example, you can search Equipment TypeWater Heaters with a Minimum Age of eight years, to reach out to these customers.

Click Search
to view the report, or click the Dropdown Arrow to download the report.Clicking
resets all report filters to default settings.
Understand replacement opportunity data on the Dashboard
You can find replacement opportunity data in the Technician Scorecards section of the Modular Dashboard.
Go to the navigation bar and click Dashboard.
Scroll down to the Technician Scorecards section.
Select the Lead Generation tab.
Click Replacements.
