How to apply a discount on all equipment and materials with customer-specific pricing

Problem

You want to apply discount to all materials and equipment for specific customers.

Solution

Create the CSP rule

1. Go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook.

2. In the side menu, click Pricing Builder.

3. On the Client Specific Pricing screen that opens, click Create Rule.

4. Select Client Specific Pricing.

5. Enter a name for the rule.

6. Click Next.

7. In the Markups/Discounts section, locate the two tables for Materials and Equipment.

8. In the To field of both tables, enter a large number, such as 100000000000, to apply the rule across all materials and equipment.

9. Above each table, select Discount %.

10. Enter the discount percentage. 

11. Finalize the pricing rule setup.

12. (Optional) Turn off Automatic Labor Calculations to skip applying labor rates.

13. Navigate to the customer page where you want to apply the pricing rule.

14. Under the Rate Sheet dropdown, select the newly created pricing rule.

This rule now applies the specified discount to all equipment and materials for that customer.
