Things to know
Not all RFIs need to be associated with a file. You can also create them directly from the project's RFI screen in which case they will not be linked to a file.
Documents attached to an RFI task are not stored in Document Management. They are stored separately.
From the RFI screen, select View on file to jump back to the pinned location on the drawing.
Deleting a pin unlinks it from the drawing. It does not delete the RFI record.
If you do not have permission to view a file, following the drawing link from an RFI shows an access notification instead of the file.
RFI task pins behave like comments. They stay visible on the drawing across annotation versions.
RFIs are available in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App. For more, see Open project document annotations from messages and RFIs in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.
