Convex navigation menu overview

Overview

The navigation menu in Convex is organized into three key areas: Sections for accessing main features, Profile Settings for personal preferences, and Support for help.


Who uses this feature

  • Managers, regional managers, representatives, and salespeople

  • Primarily for Commercial Service and Commercial Construction business types

Navigate through feature sections

Sections may differ from account to account depending on the feature options you choose for your team and company. Each section's name reflects its purpose and helps quickly find and access the desired features. To expand the menu, click the Convex icon.

The default features may include:

  • The Dashboard provides an overview of the work and activities for yourself and your team. To learn more, see Navigating Convex Dashboard view.

  • The Map allows you to visualize your entire addressable market. You can view properties within your territory, filter by various criteria, and zoom in on specific areas or states. To learn more, see Navigating Map view.

  • The Companies (optional) allows you to manage and explore detailed information about the businesses associated with your opportunities. This section helps you identify decision-makers, streamline outreach, and organize company-specific insights to drive better engagement and results.

  • The People provides details on all the contacts saved by you and everyone in your territory. It allows you to search and view contacts within your properties, helping you target the right decision-makers. You can filter by job title, company, or location to find prospects more efficiently.

  • The Targets helps you track your leads, monitor their progress in the opportunity stages, and easily manage your contacts. When you assign yourself to a property, it will appear in your target list. To learn more, see Targets overview in Convex.

  • The Accounts (optional) provides a centralized space to track key details about your accounts, such as associated properties, contacts, and activities.

  • The Opportunities (optional) provides a clear view of your sales pipeline, including details of opportunity stages, associated properties, key decision-makers, and related activities.

  • The Boards   allow you to set up your To-Do space. You can create and customize tasks that are visible only to you. To learn more, see Navigating Boards view in Convex.

  • The Signals (optional) provide valuable insights and alerts to help you identify new opportunities and stay informed about key changes in your market. Signals highlight property updates, ownership changes, permits, or other relevant activities.

View settings

The settings section allows you to switch regions, add a profile picture, and log out of your account.

Change regions

Regions are set beforehand by Convex. If you have access to multiple regions:

  1. Click your name.

  2. From the side menu, click the region you want to switch to.

Add a profile picture

  1. Click your name.

  2. From the side menu, select Change Your Photo. Change Your Photo

  3. In the upload photo pop-up that opens, click UPLOAD FROM YOUR COMPUTER or drag and drop a photo into the box.

  4. When finished, click Save.

Log out your account

  1. Click your name.

  2. From the side menu, click Log Out. Log out your account

Contact support

You can reach out to support directly from your account if you have any questions or need assistance with features.

  1. Click Support. Contact support

  2. In the Need Help? pop-up that opens, click Email Support.

Export CSV file

You can export your data, such as contacts, campaigns, and notes, into a CSV file. This is useful for transferring your information to other systems or for further analysis. For more, see (coming soon).
