Overview
Organize and track your marketing campaigns using campaign categories. This allows you to compare the performance of each category and identify which delivers the best return on investment (ROI) for your business.
Make sure you’re viewing the correct Marketing Pro content
This article is for Marketing Pro v2. If you are using Marketing Pro, see Add and use campaign categories for content specific to your experience.
You can check your version following these steps:
Go to the navigation bar and click Marketing
.If the side menu under Analytics includes One-Time Campaigns and Automated Campaigns, you're using Marketing Pro v2. If these options aren't visible, you're using Marketing Pro.

Things to know
You can edit or deactivate the default campaign categories automatically included in your account.
You can require a campaign category to be added when a campaign is created or edited. Existing campaigns will not be affected until they are edited. To require this, go to Marketing
> Campaign Manager, select the Campaign Categories tab, and turn on the Require Campaigns to have Campaign Categories toggle. 
Add a campaign category
Go to the navigation bar and click Marketing
.In the side menu, go to Campaigns > Campaign Manager and click the Campaign Categories tab.
Click Add Category.
In the Edit Campaign Category pop-up that opens, enter the Campaign Category Name.
Click Save.

Edit a campaign category
Go to the navigation bar and click Marketing
.In the side menu, go to Campaigns > Campaign Manager and click the Campaign Categories tab.
Click More > Edit
for the campaign category you want to edit. 
In the Create a Campaign Category pop-up that opens, edit the Campaign Category Name.

When finished, click Save.
Archive a campaign category
Go to the navigation bar and click Marketing
.In the side menu, go to Campaigns > Campaign Manager and click the Campaign Categories tab.
Click More
> Archive for the campaign you want to archive. 
On the Archive Campaign Category? pop-up that opens, click Archive.

Unarchive a campaign category
Go to the navigation bar and click Marketing
.In the side menu, go to Campaigns > Campaign Manager and click the Campaign Categories tab.
Click More
> Unarchive for the campaign you want to unarchive. Tip: Filter the campaign categories to show only Archived categories.

On the Unarchive Campaign Category? pop-up that opens, click Unarchive.
