Activate a service agreement so that the scope of work can begin.

  • Administrators, accountants, estimators, project managers, and operations managers.

  • Primarily benefits Commercial Service and Replacement business types, and Residential Service and Replacement business types

  • Applies to all trades

Things to know

  • Before activating a service agreement, double-check to ensure that all of the information used to create the agreement is accurate, especially the Scope of Work and Pricing steps. Activating an agreement is an irreversible action, and it is easier to edit agreement details while it is in Draft status.

Activate a service agreement

  1. Go to the Service Agreement section in the Customer record.

  2. Find the service agreement and click Edit   in its Status column. Service agreements list showing statuses, summaries, and total amounts for each agreement.

  3. Select the Activated status. Dropdown menu displaying various status options for document management.

Tip: To save the updates, click at the end of the row. To delete an update, click Delete.

After you activate the Service Agreement, click the Agreement ID to go to the Service Agreements screen and manage the activated agreement.
