Why one of my employees can’t edit customer profiles?

Problem

The customer can't edit or add customer contact information. Their permissions show they should be able to do this. When trying to save changes, the system does not allow it.

Solution

Resolve issues with editing customer profiles in ServiceTitan.

Edit employee details

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Settings A simple icon representing a settings gear. > People > Employees.

  2. Select the employee and click Edit.

  3. Click the Permissions tab.

  4. Check if the Edit customer permission is enabled.

  5. If they have permission but still can't make edits.        

    • Try to edit another customer record.

    • Clear cache.

    • Check for error messages when trying to save the edits.
