Problem
You want to prevent others from playing back a call and need to know if the call recording can be locked.
Solution
In ServiceTitan, you cannot lock individual call recordings, so anyone with the necessary permissions can listen to them. If you need to prevent specific office employees, technicians, or roles from accessing call recordings, you can modify their permissions to remove their access.
Note: Changing these permissions removes their access to all call recordings, not just specific ones.
Remove permission to listen to call recordings for employees
Go to the navigation bar and click Settings
.In the side panel, go to People > Employees.
Click Edit for the employee that needs to be updated.
Click the Permissions tab.
Scroll down to the Job Booking & Dispatching section.
Deselect the Listen to call recording permission.
Click Save Changes.
Remove permission to listen to call recordings for technicians
Go to the navigation bar and click Settings
.In the side panel, go to People > Technicians.
Click Edit for the technician that needs to be updated.
Click the Permissions tab.
Scroll down to the Job Booking & Dispatching section.
Deselect the Listen to call recording (mobile) permission.
Click Save Changes.
Remove permission to listen to call recordings for roles
Go to the navigation bar and click Settings
.In the side panel, go to People > Role Permissions.
Click Edit for the role that needs to be updated.
Click the Permissions tab.
Scroll down to the Job Booking & Dispatching section.
Deselect the Listen to call recording (mobile) permission.
Click Save Changes.
