How can I edit or remove a custom field in Operations settings?

Problem

You need to edit or remove a custom field in your Operations settings, not your Marketing settings, because you need to change a specific requirement for CSRs booking a call, collecting equipment or location construction age, or more.

Solution

  1. Go to Settings > Operations > Custom Fields.

  2. Click Edit next to the custom field you want to change.        

    1. To edit the custom field, make your changes then click Save.

    2. To remove the custom field, scroll to the bottom and click Deactivate.

Remember to double-check that you're in the Operations settings, not Marketing settings. The custom fields options are available in both areas but serve different purposes.
