Problem

Technicians often forget to enter meal breaks. Adding meal breaks later creates overlap errors with existing work time. Break up timesheet entries with flexible timekeeping  to split timesheet entries efficiently.

Solution

Break up timesheet entries

  1. On theTimesheets screen, locate the timesheet entry you want to break up.

  2. On the timesheet entry, click Break Up EntryTimesheet entry showing total hours and activity details for August 19.

  3. Create separate entries for work time before the meal, the meal break, and work time after the meal.

The breakup entry prevents overlap errors by automatically splitting existing time entries instead of creating conflicting overlapping entries.
