Things to know

  • The Pricebook Import/Export feature is not designed to accommodate the use case of copying Pricebook between accounts. However, the steps below outline how to accomplish this as a one-time, manual effort.

  • The process requires multiple imports and exports and the ability to work with data in a spreadsheet.

  • IDs are unique between accounts. While you’re going through the process of creating the copied items into your new account,  you should remove IDs from the source account to create new IDs in your new account.

Duplicate Pricebook from different accounts

Before you start, note:

  • When you follow the steps described below, they won’t copy images unless they are located on a public sharing drive. Instructions assume that Images are not hosted, and the exclusion of data in the image fields is emphasized.

  • Pricebook Pro pricebook should not be shared between accounts as the content is a paid service.  If you are a Pricebook Pro customer, don’t export the content and prove it to another account.

Follow the steps below:

  1. Download the target tenant and destination tenant pricebooks.
