Can a technician add or change a rate sheet in ServiceTitan Mobile?

Problem

Technicians want to know if they can add or change rate sheets on the mobile side. The technician has the Calculate prices permission turned on.

Solution

Technicians can effectively work within the limitations of the ServiceTitan Mobile regarding rate sheets.

Add or update a rate sheet

Note: You can't add or update rate sheets in ServiceTitan Mobile. The action is only available for office employees.

1. Notify the office that the associated estimate or invoice requires a different rate sheet. If applicable, specify which rate sheet should be assigned and if the rate sheet applies to this job versus all future jobs.

2. When the office team updates the rate sheet, continue building the estimate or invoice.

3. If you build an estimate, make sure to calculate prices with the newly assigned rate sheet. If you build an invoice, notify the office that the invoice is ready for review when you complete the job.
