How do I make Pricebook items invisible to technicians?

Problem

You need to hide new items in pricebook from technicians. You want to keep editing them on the desktop.

Solution

Work on new items in pricebook without making them available for selection by technicians until they are fully ready.

Make pricebook items inactive

1. Go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook.

2. Select the item you want to make invisible to technicians.

3. Remove the item from any category it is assigned to.

4. Edit the item and look for the category section. Clear any category it is assigned to.

5. Save your changes.

The item will remain in pricebook but won't show up on the mobile side for technicians.

You can still see and edit the item on the desktop version of ServiceTitan.
