These improvements to the Field Mobile App calendar let technicians search for appointments, book jobs or create non-job events (NJEs) by tapping empty time slots, and reschedule items with drag-and-drop.
What's changing?
Search appointments: A new search option in the calendar header lets technicians find jobs and appointments without scrolling through days. Tap the Search icon, then type a job number, customer name, or address. Results appear as you type and display as job cards with the job number, status tags, customer name, and address. Tap a result to go directly to the job details. Search results follow existing appointment visibility permissions.
Tap empty time slots to book or create: Technicians can now tap an open time slot in Day view to book a job appointment or create a non-job event. If the technician has permission for both actions, a selector appears to choose between Book Job and Create Non-Job Event. The booking screen displays a warning banner if the selected time overlaps with an existing appointment.
Drag-and-drop rescheduling: Technicians can now reschedule jobs and NJEs by long-pressing an item in Day view and dragging it to a new time slot. After releasing, a confirmation dialog appears before the change is saved. ServiceTitan checks for conflicts in real time and displays a warning if the new time overlaps with another item. Job rescheduling requires the job to be in Scheduled status. Jobs that are already started cannot be rescheduled.
