What's new
Previously, Affirm pricing appeared only in the Customer Portal, so a technician standing in front of a homeowner with a large estimate had no way to show an Affirm monthly amount on the spot. Now, when an estimate total falls inside the Affirm range your administrators configure, the Field Mobile App estimate card shows an Affirm As Low As monthly payment along with Affirm branding, and estimates outside that range continue to show your default financing partner exactly as before.

1.Open a presented estimate in the Field Mobile App.
1.Open a presented estimate in the Field Mobile App.
2.Review the monthly financing amount on the estimate card, which comes from your default financing partner.
2.Review the Affirm As Low As monthly amount on the estimate card when the estimate total falls inside your configured Estimate Range.
3.Describe Affirm verbally, or ask the homeowner to open the Customer Portal on their own device.
3.Confirm the Affirm logo appears on the estimate card and on the Application Sent screen.
4.Wait for the homeowner to review Affirm pricing after the visit ends.
4.Select Learn More to open the Affirm payment options screen and review plan terms with the homeowner.
5.Continue with your default financing partner when the estimate total falls outside your Affirm range.
⚠ Affirm pricing was not visible in the field, so the conversation about paying over time moved off the estimate and away from the moment of the sale.
✓ Affirm monthly pricing appears where the sale happens, so you can frame a large job in monthly terms while you are still with the homeowner.
How it works for your industry
Residential Service and Replacement
- A technician quoting a full heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system replacement shows the homeowner an Affirm monthly amount on the estimate screen before leaving the property.
- A water heater replacement priced inside your Affirm range shows Affirm pricing, while a smaller repair priced below the range shows no Affirm option.
- A technician presenting a panel upgrade selects Learn More to walk the homeowner through the available Affirm plan terms.
Residential Construction
- A sales representative presenting a whole home rewire shows Affirm monthly pricing on the estimate, so the discussion moves from total price to monthly cost.
- A large remodel estimate priced above your Affirm maximum falls back to your default financing partner, so your presentation stays consistent across job sizes.
- A representative comparing two build options shows the Affirm monthly amount for each, giving the homeowner a clear side by side view.
How to prepare
01
Have an administrator reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM) to have Affirm financing and any prerequisite configurations enabled.
02
Confirm your Affirm provider setup on the Settings > Financing screen, including your merchant tier and your Estimate Range minimum and maximum amounts.
03
Identify which business units should offer Affirm and set exclusions on the Affirm provider card.
04
Confirm technicians have installed Field Mobile App version 22.0 or later, and train them on when Affirm pricing appears and on the fact that prequalification does not guarantee approval.
