Track mobile app versions across your team with the new Mobile Command Center

The Mobile Command Center is a new screen in the office that shows which mobile app version each member of your field team is running, so you can spot outdated installs before they cause problems. It also allows you to notify them that they’re outdated via SMS.

What's new

Previously, there was no place in the office to see which mobile app version your technicians were running. You found out a device was on an older version only after something behaved unexpectedly in the field. With the new Mobile Command Center, you can see every team member, the mobile app they use, the version they are on, and when they were last seen. You can set a warning banner that flags when too many technicians fall onto an unsupported version.

How it works for your industry

Residential service and replacement
  • A field manager checks the Mobile app usage screen each Monday, sees two technicians on an older version, and follows up before the week's calls.
  • After a busy season, an administrator confirms the whole team is on the current version before a new feature rolls out.
Commercial service and replacement
  • An admin reviews app versions across a large field crew and sets the warning banner so drift onto unsupported versions is flagged automatically.
  • Before a preventive maintenance (PM) route, a manager confirms the assigned technicians are on the current version.
  • An administrator spots a cluster of technicians on an older version at one branch and coordinates the fix.
Residential construction
  • A field manager confirms field crews are on the current version before a large install phase begins.
  • An administrator follows up with a subcontractor's technician who is on an older version.
  • A manager uses the last seen view to confirm a crew member is active in the app on site.
Commercial construction
  • An admin reviews version drift across multiple job sites from one screen.
  • Before a multi-crew mobilization, an administrator confirms every technician is on the current version.
