This new feature uses Titan Intelligence (TI) to automatically generate estimate names and summaries for technicians in the Field Mobile App, saving time and reducing manual writing during a job.
What's new?
Before, technicians had to manually type the name and summary for each estimate while in the field. This required extra time during the job and often led to inconsistent or incomplete estimate descriptions. Now, technicians can tap Generate Name and Summary in the estimate details screen to let Titan Intelligence draft the content for them. Technicians can review the results, regenerate if needed, or save the output directly to the estimate.

How it works for your industry
Residential Service and Replacement
A technician completes an HVAC inspection and builds an estimate with several line items. They tap Generate Name and Summary, select Estimate Items and Descriptions and Job Summary as inputs, and tap Generate. The TitanIntelligence (TI) produces a clear summary describing the work recommended. The technician saves it without typing a word.
A plumbing technician uses voice-to-text to add a note in the Estimate info and recommendations field before tapping Generate. TI incorporates the spoken context into the summary, producing a description that matches what the technician communicated to the homeowner.
A technician generates a summary offline but wants to regenerate with different inputs after reconnecting. When offline, the Regenerate option is disabled and a "You're not connected" message appears. After reconnecting, the technician regenerates with updated inputs.
Commercial Service and Replacement
A service technician generates a name and summary for a preventive maintenance estimate. They select Also generate estimate name and tap Generate. TI names the estimate based on the job type and summary content so the office can identify it without opening the estimate.
A technician reviewing an existing estimate taps Edit next to the summary. The TI-assisted screen opens with the current summary displayed. The technician changes their input selections and taps Regenerate to produce a revised version.
Residential Construction
A technician building a multi-option estimate for a bathroom remodel taps Generate Name and Summary. They select Job Summary and Estimate Items and Descriptions and let TI draft the summary. Each estimate option gets its own TI-generated summary, keeping descriptions accurate and distinct.
A technician who previously unselected Job Summary from their inputs finds that selection retained on their next estimate. The app remembers their preferences across jobs so they do not need to reconfigure inputs each time.
An installer who does not have the Generate Estimate Name and Summary with AI permission enabled does not see the Generate Name and Summary button. They continue to use the existing manual summary experience.
Commercial Construction
A technician on a large commercial project creates an estimate for electrical work. They include the completed inspection form and estimate items as inputs. TI generates a summary that aligns with the documented scope, which the technician saves and presents to the project manager on-site.
A technician with both the Generate Estimate Name and Summary with AI permission and the Edit Estimate Name and Summary permission enabled can generate TI output and then manually refine the summary before saving—giving full control over the final content.
A technician without internet access opens an existing estimate with a saved summary. The Assisted tab is accessible to view the current content, but the Regenerate button and job info selections are disabled. The technician can still manually edit the summary using the Manual tab.
How to Prepare?
Have an administrator confirm that the Generate Estimate Name and Summary with AI permission is enabled for the appropriate technician roles in ServiceTitan office. This permission can be enabled or disabled per role and applies to Managed Technicians only.
Confirm that technicians are running the latest version of the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App on iOS or Android.
Identify which technician roles should have access to AI estimate generation and align permission settings before the feature is available in your account.
Train technicians on the new Generate Name and Summary workflow, including how to select job context inputs and when to use the Regenerate option.
