What's new
Before Benchmark+, comparing your results against the wider market meant waiting on a quarterly report that was already out of date by the time it arrived, and even then it told you how you performed rather than how you performed relative to businesses like yours. Benchmark+ replaces that with a live module inside Enterprise Hub, where you can see each of your companies plotted against a peer group built from four factors: primary trade, climate region, business size by the number of technicians completing jobs, and residential to commercial mix. Instead of raw revenue figures, Benchmark+ reports your percentile rank within that peer group, so you get a clear read on competitive position without exposing anyone's financials. You can also build your own comparison groups when the default peer group does not reflect how you actually compete.
Workflow comparison — before & after
← Before
✓ After
1.Wait for the quarterly Benchmark Report to be generated for each of your companies.
1.In Enterprise Hub, open the Benchmarks module.
2.Open each report separately and read your metrics against an anonymized average for businesses of similar size and trade.
2.Set your filters for companies, date, trade, region, business size, and business type.
3.Build your own spreadsheet to line the companies up side by side, because nothing shows them together.
3.Open the 4-Quadrant View to see every company plotted by change in revenue against change in percentile rank, sorted into four groups from winning on both fronts to declining and falling behind.
4.Discover a performance problem in the following quarter, after the trend has already been running for months.
4.Select a quadrant to open Quadrant Details and see which operational figures are driving that position, such as booking rate, revenue per technician, and install to service ticket mix.
5.Open Tenant Details for a single company to compare its metrics month by month against the peer 20th to 80th percentile band.
⚠ Leaders work from lagging, disconnected figures, so a business that is growing revenue can look healthy while it quietly loses ground to faster-growing peers.
✓ You see both how each company is performing and how it is moving against comparable businesses, so a slide toward a weaker position shows up while there is still time to act on it.
A group of residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning brands reviews the 4-Quadrant View after a strong summer and finds that two locations grew revenue but dropped in percentile rank, meaning nearby competitors grew faster. The group shifts marketing spend toward those two markets.
A plumbing operator sees its call booking rate sitting below the peer band in Tenant Details while average ticket sits above it, which points the coaching conversation at the front office rather than at the field.
An owner building a case for a new location uses Custom Clusters to compare only against residential businesses of similar technician count in the same climate region, rather than against the default peer group.
Commercial Service and Replacement
A commercial service group tracks Quadrant Movement across the year and catches one location drifting from a strong quadrant toward a weaker one two quarters before it would have shown up in the annual review.
A finance leader preparing board materials uses High Performer Indices to express each location's revenue as a multiple of the peer group's 80th percentile, giving the board a single comparable number without disclosing revenue figures.
A group with a mixed residential and commercial book builds a Custom Cluster limited to businesses with a comparable commercial share, so the comparison reflects how the business actually competes.
How to prepare
01
Have an administrator reach out to Support or your Customer Success Manager (CSM) to have Benchmark+ and any prerequisite configurations enabled. Benchmark+ is in a closed Private Preview, so access limited and not available for all accounts.
02
Confirm that each company you want to compare is opted in to Titan Intelligence Data Preferences and has enough completed job history, and that it operates in a supported climate region. Benchmark+ currently covers heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, water treatment, and garage doors.
03
Confirm that the people who need Benchmark+ have an Enterprise Hub account. If your business runs a single company rather than a network, ServiceTitan can create an Enterprise Hub login limited to User Roles and Benchmark+. Note that role and permission management for that account then happens in Enterprise Hub rather than in your standard ServiceTitan settings.
04
Review which roles should see Benchmark+ before granting access. The module carries company-level revenue and performance figures, so restrict it to the roles that need it.
