Manage Marketing Pro email templates

Overview

Customize and manage email templates for use with the Marketing Pro email campaign builder. Templates can be created by you or ServiceTitan. You can also request a template to be made for you, if the available templates do not meet your marketing needs.

Things to know

       
  • Email templates can be archived, unarchived, and cloned from the Email Templates screen.
  •    
  • Email templates created by ServiceTitan automatically include your default brand logo, saving you time and ensuring a consistent professional look. If you choose a brand other than your default brand for a campaign, that brand's logo template is included in the email template instead.
  •    
  • You can't edit public email templates made by ServiceTitan and your Corporate HQ, but you can edit a cloned email template.

Email Templates Actions

Hover over a template to see the main actions you can take. Depending on the status of the email template, you can edit, preview, clone, or archive a template. You can also add an email template to your favorites list.

View email templates

       
  1. Go to Marketing Pro > Email Template.
  2.    
  3. Click the View icon to change between Card and List View modes.

Publish email templates in Corporate HQ

When you create email templates in the Corporate HQ, you can publish the templates to be used by you and other offices. To publish email templates in Corporate HQ:

       
  1. Go to Marketing Pro > Email Template.
  2.    
  3. Click Create new to add a new email template.
  4.    
  5. Add a Name for the new email template.
  6.    
  7. Select a Campaign Type then click Continue.
  8.    
  9. On the Configure Email Template screen that opens, add the Subject Line and Preview Text.
  10.    
  11. Add your email content:        
                 
    1. Use the Content, Rows, and Settings tabs to drag and drop content to the white space.
    2.            
    3. Organize the elements as you go.

      Tip: In the Configure Email Template screen, there are a number of different link types and merge tags that you can insert into your email to further customize it.

  13. Click Save, then click Publish as Corporate Template.

Note: You can also go to the email template in the Email Template catalog and click More Actions then select Publish as Corporate Template.

Unpublish email templates in Corporate HQ

       
  1. Go to Marketing Pro > Email Template.
  2.    
  3. Find the published corporate email template and click Edit.
  4.    
  5. On the Configure Email Template screen that opens, click Actions and select Unpublish.

Note: You can also go to the email template in the Email Template catalog and click More Actions then select Unpublish.

Edit an email template

       
  1. On the Email Templates screen, find the template you want and click Edit. The Configure Email Template screen opens.

    Note: For card view mode, hover over the template to see the Edit button, then click Edit.

  3. Edit your content as needed.
  4.    
  5. When finished, click Save.

Clone an email template

If you have an email template that works well, you can clone it to use it in other offices. You can clone public email templates and templates you created.

To clone an email template:

       
  1. Go to Marketing Pro > Email Template.
  2.    
  3. Click Clone next to the email template you want to clone.

Note: For card view mode, hover over the template to see and click Clone.

Preview an email template

To preview the template details, find the template you want and click Preview.

Note: For card view mode, hover over the template to see and click Preview.

Preview the Email Template on Desktop and Mobile

       
  1. Click Edit.
  2.    
  3. On the Configure Email Template screen that opens, click the Actions dropdown then select Preview. The Preview mode screen opens.

    Note: You can choose between Desktop or Mobile view.

Add a template to favorites

On the Email Templates screen, click the Heart icon to add a template to your favorites. You can add public email templates and templates you created to your favorites.

Note: For card view mode, hover over the template to see and click the Heart icon.

Archive email templates

You can archive an email template to hide it from the dashboard and prevent it from being used by you or anyone on your team. You can archive public email templates and templates you created.

To archive an email template:

       
  1. Go to Marketing Pro > Email Template.
  2.    
  3. Hover over the email template you want to archive, click More , then select Archive.
  4.    
  5. On the confirmation window that opens, click Confirm.

Unarchive email templates

You can unarchive an email template that you previously archived to restore it to your dashboard and allow your team to use it. You can unarchive public email templates and templates created by you.

       
  1. Go to Marketing Pro > Email Template.
  2.    
  3. On the Email Templates screen that opens, click the Email Templates dropdown then select Archived Templates.
  4.    
  5. Go to the email template you want to restore, click More, then select Unarchive.
  6.    
  7. On the confirmation window that opens, click Confirm.
