Manage Marketing Pro Email TemplatesLast updated on 11/07/2022

Customize and manage email templates for use with the Marketing Pro email campaign builder. Templates can be created by you or ServiceTitan. You can also request a template to be made for you, if the available templates do not meet your needs.


Things to know

  • Email templates can be archived, unarchived, and cloned from the Email Templates page. For more, see Manage Marketing Pro functions.

  • You cannot edit the email templates made by ServiceTitan, but you can edit a cloned ServiceTitan email template.


Overview of the Email Templates Dashboard

Go to the navigation bar and click Marketing> Email Templates. The Email Templates window opens.

In Email Templates, you can:

  • Filter templates: Use Filters to change the templates you see. You can filter by:

    • Created by: Show templates created by you, ServiceTitan, or both.

    • Featured: Show templates that you’ve marked as a favorite, are new, or have been used in recent campaigns.

    • Tags: Show templates you’ve tagged.

    • Campaign type: how templates by the campaign. Campaign types include unsold estimates, idle accounts, expiring memberships, and others. For more on campaign types, see Create email campaigns.

    • Trades: Show templates for one or more trades.

  • Search templates: By name, who created it, campaign type, or trade.

  • Sort templates: By most recent, alphabetical, or most used template.

  • Request a template: If there aren’t any email templates available for your chosen filters or search, a link will appear allowing you to request a new email template that fits your needs.

Create email templates
  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Marketing> Email Templates.

  2. Click Create new to add a new email template. For more information, see Create email templates.

View email templates
  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Marketing>Email Templates.

  2. Click the View toggle to change between card view and list view.


Email Templates Actions

Hover over a template to see the main actions you can take. Depending on the status of the email template, you can edit, preview, clone, or archive a template. You can also add an email template to your favorites list.

Edit a template
  1. In Email Templates, find the template you want and click Edit. The Configure Email Template page opens. Note: For card view mode, hover over the template to see the Edit button, then click Edit.

  2. Edit your content as needed. When you’re done, click Save.

Preview a template 

To preview the template details, find the template you want and click Preview. Note: For card view mode, hover over the template to see the Preview button, then click Preview.

Change between Desktop or Mobile preview
  1. To preview how the template will appear, click Edit. The Configure Email Template page opens.

  2. Click the Actions dropdown and select Preview. The Preview mode page opens. Note: You can toggle between Desktop or Mobile view.

Add a template to favorites

In Email Templates, find the template you want and click the Heart icon to save the template to your favorites. Note: For card view mode, hover over the template to see the Heart icon.

Request a template

If your filters and/or search yield no template results, you can send in a request to have one made by the pros at ServiceTitan.

  1. Search and filter for a template that matches what you are looking for.

  2. If your search and/or filters do not populate any relevant templates, request one by clicking Let us know.

  3. Describe the goals you have for the template, and optionally add an example image.

  4. When you’re done, click Submit.

We’ll build the template for you.

View, clone, archive, and unarchive email templates
  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Marketing > Email Templates.

  2. Hover over an email template or click More Actions more to clone or archive a live template. For more on cloning and archiving, see Manage Marketing Pro functions.
