Why technicians can’t change business units when booking jobs through ServiceTitan Mobile?

Problem

Technicians are unable to change business units after booking jobs through the mobile app. This happens because they have assigned business units.

Solution

Technicians should be able to change business units when booking jobs through the mobile app.

Delete your business unit

Note: Technicians can book jobs only from their listed business units.

  1. In ServiceTitan, go to the navigation bar and click Settings .

  2. In the side panel, click People > Technicians.

  3. Find the technician you want to edit and click Edit.

  4. Look for the Business Unit field.

  5. Delete the business unit that is currently assigned to the technician.        

    Note: You can filter the Dispatch Board by business unit and view only technicians associated with the business unit. This also limits Pricebook access to categories assigned to that business unit.

  6. Save your changes.

Tip: You need to test this with a technician to ensure the problem is resolved.
