What permission is needed for a field tech to edit an estimate of a completed job in ServiceTitan Mobile?

Problem

Field technicians need a specific permission to be able edit estimates from completed jobs in the mobile follow up tab.

Solution

Assign Permission

Ensure your technician has the right permission. The permission is called Edit estimates in follow up.

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Go to People > Technicians.

  3. Find the technician's name and click Edit.

  4. Click Permissions.

  5. Use the search field to search for Edit estimates in follow up. The permission is listed in the Lead Generation section under Estimates & Follow Ups.

  6. Check the box to give the technician the permission. 

  7. Click Save.
