Why is there one recurring service event showing on a customer's membership instead of two that were renewed?

Problem

After renewing a customer's maintenance, only one recurring service event appears instead of two.

Solution

There are a few steps that need to be taken to identify the cause of the missing recurring service event.

Check the customer's membership details

  1. Go to the customer's renewed membership.

  2. Edit the membership.

  3. Check for the Number of visits that should be available under the Recurring Service setup.

  4. If it is set to 1 visit, edit the number of visits to the accurate number.

  5. Check if the second RSE is showing.

Understand the Recurring Service Event visibility setting

Your current backend configuration might be set to show recurring service events only for the next 12 months. This setting might cause only one event to appear if the second one is scheduled beyond this range.

  • You can adjust the recurring service events to be scheduled within the 12-month visibility.

  • If not, contact ServiceTitan Technical Support so they can change the 12-month visibility limit to up to 36 months on their end.
