What is the process for moving a membership to a different address?

Problem

You cannot directly transfer a membership from one address to another in ServiceTitan. You must cancel the old membership and sell a new one to the correct address.

Solution

  1. Cancel the old membership.        

    1. Go to the customer's profile where the current membership is held.

    2. Go to the membership page.

    3. Click Edit to edit the membership.

    4. Set the status of the membership to Canceled.

    5. Follow the prompts to confirm the cancellation. Make sure to note the reason for cancellation as moving to a new address.

  2. Sell a new membership at the new address.        

    1. Go to the Membership section within the customer's profile at the new address.

    2. Select the option to sell a new membership.

    3. Choose the appropriate membership plan for the customer.

    4. Complete the sale process by entering the required details and confirming the sale.

By following these steps, you can move a membership to a new address, ensuring your sales reporting remains accurate.
