What caused a recurring service event for a customer's membership to be marked as not attempted when a job for that RSE was booked and done?

Problem

Sometimes, a technician might mark an RSE as incomplete by mistake. This causes the membership to show the RSE as not attempted.

Solution

Mark RSE as complete

  1. Search for the customer and click on the record you want to open.

  2. Under Membership, click the membership you want to view. Memberships are listed from newest to oldest.

  3. On the membership that opens, click View Audit Trail to see the history of actions taken on this membership. This helps you confirm if the RSE was marked as incomplete.

  4. Search for the job that was supposed to complete the RSE. Use the job number or go to the specific URL provided in your ServiceTitan account.

  5. Scroll down to the Recurring Service Events section on the job record.

  6. Click Mark as Complete next to the RSE that was completed but marked incorrectly. Click Mark as Complete

  7. If you cannot see the option to mark the RSE as complete, check if the job's invoice is posted. Posted invoices lock down edits.

  8. If necessary, unpost the invoice to make changes.

  9. After unposting, the options to edit the job, including marking the RSE as complete, should reappear.

By following these steps, you can correct the status of a recurring service event from not attempted to complete, ensuring your customer's membership reflects the accurate service history.
