Things to know
The Production Queue uses web-view technology to display production tasks in the Field Mobile App, providing access to the same workflow available in the office.
Tasks are organized into stages that represent the production workflow, such as material ordering, permitting, and installation scheduling.
Tasks can have dependencies, meaning some tasks remain blocked until prerequisite tasks are completed.
You can view tasks assigned to you or filter to see all tasks across jobs and projects.
Communication within tasks happens through internal chat and email, keeping all conversations in one place.
Production Queue tasks are separate from existing ServiceTitan tasks and use a different system.
The names of certain screens, tabs, and so on may be different based on your selection in Menu
> Settings. For more, see Show Residential or Commercial terms in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.
Best practices
Check your Production Queue tasks daily to stay on top of what needs attention.
Update task status as soon as you complete steps to keep the production team informed.
Use the internal chat feature to ask questions or clarify details rather than making phone calls.
Filter tasks by due date to prioritize the most urgent items.
Use cases
A roofing technician checks the Production Queue to confirm that materials have been ordered before heading to a job site.
