Use Global Search in Enterprise Hub

Overview

With Global Search, you can quickly find your search records from anywhere in Enterprise Hub. Global Search is an addition to the existing Search functionality, which we will continue to support.

Things to know

• To open a result in a new window, hold the Command key on Mac or Ctrl on Windows while clicking the link. This opens the link in a new tab or window, depending on your browser settings.

• A single search bar accessible from anywhere in Enterprise Hub.

• Search across multiple tenants from one search box instead of navigating to each tenant to search for records.

• Search as you type, allowing you to easily find the records you are looking for.

• Quick access to recently searched items.

• Detailed search around a specific entity or category. 

Find your records in Global Search

Global Search enhances the existing search capability by providing a unified, efficient, and user-friendly way to find information across the platform.

• Allows searching across multiple categories and fields using a single search box

• Supports search across multiple tenants

• Handles typos and misspellings to improve accuracy and usability

• Saves previous search results for quick and easy access

To use Global Search:

1. In Enterprise Hub, click the navigation bar to Search or press CTRL + / on Windows and Command+ on Mac on your keyboard. Use your mouse or press Tab on your keyboard to browse the results.

2. Search for the record you want. The system shows all available options.

3. Click View All or the category filter to view more results from a specific category.

To share your feedback, click Share Feedback and write your feedback about Global Search.

To open the corresponding Location or Customer page linked to the job or invoice you searched for, click the location or customer information.
