Problem
You found that you can't assign Sold by credits to unmanaged technicians on estimates. This was possible before but changed due to a software update.
Solution
Understand that ServiceTitan does not let unmanaged technicians get Sold by credits. Only managed technicians can get these credits.
Update the technicians profile
Check the technician's account status in Settings > People> Technicians. Make sure the technician is listed as a managed technician in ServiceTitanIf the tech is not a managed technician, you can change the technician profile to a managed status.
Go to Settings > People> Technicians edit the technician's profile and change their status to Managed.
Note: Changing the technicians status from non-managed to managed profile is different between ServiceTitan's pricing models. Please contact your success manager before making any changes. For more information, see Managed technicians and non-managed technicians in ServiceTitan Mobile.
Update the Sold By on an estimate
To assign the right technician as a Sold by on an estimate:
Go to the estimate you want to update.
Click Edit.
Find the Sold by field and select the managed technician from the list.
Click Save to save the changes that you made. Make sure to review the estimate to confirm the update.
