ServiceTitan Call Not Coming Through to Desk Phone

Problem

You can't answer a call by clicking on a green bubble. To answer from a desk phone, you need to push the speaker button or pick up the handset.

Solution

  1. Confirm the desk phone is connected to the internet, has a power source, and is powered on.

  2. Confirm the phone is configured to a user in DialPad.

  3. Confirm the desk phone shows up under the Device tab in DialPad.com under the user it is assigned to.

  4. Confirm the Ring this device box is checked under the Device tab for the desk phone.

  5. Confirm that DND is not set to on.

  6. Confirm that a forward is not set on the phone.

  7. Confirm if you can make outbound calls from the desk phone.

If all of the previous items have been confirmed and the phone still does not ring, then get call examples of any inbound calls that don't ring the desk phone and open a support case so the issue can be researched.

Note: If the issue persists, please provide examples of calls that are not coming through to the desk phone for further troubleshooting.
