Overview
Service Agreements Exception Dashboard consolidates key reports that help you identify and manage Service Agreements (SAs) that require action to stay on track.
The dashboard includes the following reports:

Click Bookmark
next to the dashboard name to make it the default option when you open the Dashboard section.Click Export next to each report to export the table in the XLSX (MS Excel) or PDF format.
Click Hide Filters next to each report to hide the filters from view.

Benefits of using this dashboard
Issue resolution: The dashboard flags key exceptions such as expired agreements with remaining visits, unbilled amounts, or missing materials so you can take action before problems impact revenue, service delivery, or customer satisfaction.
Improved financial visibility: By showing metrics such as deferred revenue balance, cost variance, and gross margin variance, the dashboard gives you better visibility into profitability, billing status, and revenue recognition. This helps you to make informed business decisions and stay financially accurate.
Open Service Agreement Exception Dashboard
Go to the top toolbar and click Dashboard.
From the Modular Dashboard dropdown, select Service Agreement Exception Dashboard.

The dashboard opens.
Note: By default, the dashboard reports on all Business Units (BUs) for the current day. To report on specific dates or BUs, you can filter the dashboard.
Expired/Canceled SAs w/ Remaining Visits
This report gives an overview of expired or cancelled Service Agreements that have remaining visits. It includes the following filters and KPIs.
Filters
Business Unit: This field is greyed out because the BU is controlled by the dashboard filters at the top. It can be changed from the dashboard filters.
Status: Automatically set to show Canceled and Expired SAs.
Account Manager: Select an account manager from the list.
Filter By: Select the method the report will be filtered. Options include: Agreement Start/End Date, Agreement Start Date, Agreement End Date, or Agreement Status Change Date.
From - To: Apply a date range for SAs.
Deferred Revenue As of Date: Use the calendar to select a date. The report calculates deferred revenue for invoices on or before the selected date.
Deferred Revenue Export Status: Select the invoice statuses you want to report on. Options include: Pending, Posted, or Exported.
Table
ID: Clickable link that opens the SA in a new tab.
Customer Name: Clicking it opens the customer record in a new tab.
Location Name: Name of the service location.
Name: Name of the SA.
End Date: The date when the SA expired.
Number of Visits: Number of visits that were performed.
Remaining Visits: Number of remaining visits.
Service Agreements With Outstanding DR Amount
This report gives an overview of Service Agreements with 100% visit completion that have a remaining deferred balance amount. It includes the following filters and KPIs.
Filters
Business Unit: This field is greyed out because the BU is controlled by the dashboard filters at the top. It can be changed from the dashboard filters.
Status: Automatically set to show Canceled and Expired SAs.
Account Manager: Select an account manager from the list.
Filter By: Select the method the report will be filtered. Options include: Agreement Start/End Date, Agreement Start Date, Agreement End Date, or Agreement Status Change Date.
From - To: Apply a date range for SAs.

Visit Completion %: The percentage of completed visits. Use Filter

Service Agreements With Unbilled Amount
This report gives an overview of Service Agreements for which there is 100% visit completion, but have not completed billing. It includes the following filters and KPIs.
Filters
Business Unit: This field is greyed out because the BU is controlled by the dashboard filters at the top. It can be changed from the dashboard filters.
Status: Set to show Canceled and Expired SAs by default.
Account Manager: Select an account manager from the list.
Filter By: Select the method the report will be filtered. Options include: Agreement Start/End Date, Agreement Start Date, Agreement End Date, or Agreement Status Change Date.
From - To: Apply a date range for SAs.

Remaining Billing Amount: The portion of the total SA value that has not yet been invoiced to the customer.
Upcoming SA visits without materials yet ordered/procured
The report gives an overview of upcoming Service Agreement visits where the required materials have not yet been ordered or procured. It includes the following filters and KPIs.
Filters
Business Unit: This field is greyed out because the BU is controlled by the dashboard filters at the top. It can be changed from the dashboard filters.
Service Agreement Status: Set to show Activated SAs by default.
Visit Status: Select the status from the list.
Visit Window From - Visit Window To: It is greyed out as the visit window is set by the dashboard filters at the top and cannot be edited.
Table
Job Number: Job number for a scheduled visit.
Business Unit: BU of the SA.
Primary Vendor: Primary supplier for the item.
Item Code: Code of the item.
Item Name: Name of the item.
Item Qty: Quantity of the item.
Item Unit Cost: Cost of the item.
Service Agreement ID: Unique SA number.
Service Agreement Name: Name of the SA. Clicking it opens the SA page in a new tab.
Service Agreement Status: Status of SA.
Customer Name: Clicking it opens the customer record in a new tab.
Location Name: Clicking it opens the location record in a new tab.
Visit Name: Name of the visit.
Visit Status: Status of the visit.
Job Scheduled Date: Date of the job that was scheduled.
Job Tags: Tags that are on the job.
Invoice Item ID: Item ID on a visit invoice.
SAs that need to be renewed
The report gives an overview of Service Agreements that have not been renewed. It includes the following filters and KPIs.
Filters
Deferred Revenue As of Date: Use the calendar to select a date. The report calculates deferred revenue for invoices on or before the selected date.
Deferred Revenue Invoice Status: Select the invoice statuses you want to report on. Options include: Pending, Posted, or Exported.
Business Unit: This field is greyed out because the BU is controlled by the dashboard filters at the top. It can be changed from the dashboard filters.
Status: Status of the SA.
Account Manager: Select an account manager from the list.
Filter By: Select the method the report will be filtered. Options include: Agreement Start/End Date, Agreement Start Date, Agreement End Date, or Agreement Status Change Date.
From - To: It is greyed out as the date range is set by the dashboard filters at the top and cannot be edited.

Note: The table contains over sixty columns of data, providing a detailed view of performance metrics and operational insights. Several of the KPIs are explained in previous reports. Some KPIs are explained below.
Service Agreement Template: Name of the SA template set in Settings > Service Agreement Templates.
Total Agreement Price: Value of SA.
Estimated Gross Margin Percentage: Total Agreement Price - Total Estimated Costs / Total Agreement Price.
Billing Schedule: Schedule set for billing. Options include: Upfront, Annual, Biannual, Quarterly, Every Other Month, and Monthly.
Billed Variance: Billed Amount - Total Agreement Price.
Billed Budget Used: Actual billed/billed estimate.
Labor Budget Used: Actual labor cost/estimated labor cost.
Material Budget Used: Actual material cost/estimated material cost.
Total Costs Estimated: Sum of all the estimated visit costs.
Total Cost Actual: Sum of the underlying job costs for each of the SA visits that are performed.
Total Cost Variance: Difference between the budgeted total cost for a service agreement and the actual cost.
Total Budget Used: Amount of the total budget that has been used.
Gross Margin Percent Actual: Total Agreement Price - Total Actual Costs / Total Agreement Price.
Gross Margin Percent Variance: Difference between the actual gross margin percentage and the budgeted gross margin percentage.
Deferred Revenue: Total of the billed amounts for the agreement, including the imported billed amount, if applicable.
Imported Deferred Amount: The amount of deferred revenue initially imported for the agreement.
Imported Recognized Amount: The recognized revenue amount initially imported for the agreement.
Recognized Revenue: Total of positive invoice items where a visit has been booked into a job or has been dismissed, including the imported recognized amount, if applicable.
Deferred Revenue Balance: Recognized revenue subtracted from deferred revenue.
