Create Requisition for Service Jobs in the ServiceTitan mobile app

Overview

Technicians can create requisitions for service jobs in ServiceTitan Mobile. This allows technicians to request and receive parts that they need to complete jobs more quickly and efficiently than if they contact their offices by phone or other means to request items.

Things to know

Technicians can create requisitions for service jobs in ServiceTitan Mobile if they have permission to create item requests. To enable the Create Item Request permission, go to Settings > People > Role Permissions > Purchasing & Inventory. For more, see Explanation of technician permissions in ServiceTitan and Set permissions for an employee or technician role.
After technicians complete the job, the items for a service requisition will be automatically consumed.
The Purchasing Module is required to use this feature.
The Inventory Module is not required to use this feature. However, customers that use the Inventory Module will see their current inventory balances for stock parts while creating and filling requests.

Request Items

If a technician has already been dispatched and arrived, they can open the job and request an item:

In Dashboard, select the job you want and tap View.
On the Job screen that opens, from the side menu, tap Invoice.
On the Invoice screen that opens, tap Request Items.
On the Request Items pop-up that opens, search for the equipment and materials you want.
Tap Add next to the item you want to request.
Note: You can select more than one item.
Note: You can see how many items are in the truck and warehouse if the Inventory Module is enabled and in use.
In the Quantity to Order field, enter the amount of the item.
Tip: You can use the and icons to reduce or add the number of items.
Tap Submit.
