Problem

Your technicians aren't auto-arriving to jobs through ServiceTitan.

Solution

Workflows to Resolution

  1. Check if auto-arrive is enabled:

    1. In ServiceTitan, go to SettingsA simple icon representing a settings gear. > Integrations > GPS.

    2. Check if Native is listed as an active GPS Provider. This guide assumes it's enabled. If it's not enabled, follow the steps to enable Native GPS in ServiceTitan or contact Technical Support for assistance. Interface showing GPS Providers with options to add, activate, or deactivate providers.

    3. After Native GPS is enabled, ensure your technicians are selected in the Devices tab. 

  2. Ensure GPS is enabled on technicians' devices:

    1. Ask your technicians to open their device settings.

    2. Have them follow the steps to find and turn on GPS and location access on their mobile devices.

  3. Set location accuracy to Always:

    1. Ask your technicians to open the ServiceTitan app settings on their devices.

    2. Instruct them to change location accuracy to Always or All the time.

      Note: This setting allows ServiceTitan to use technicians' locations even when the app is not open.

  4. Check GPS pings in ServiceTitan:

    1. In ServiceTitan, go back to SettingsA simple icon representing a settings gear. > Integrations > GPS.

    2. Check to see if technicians' locations are updating as expected.

  5. Test the auto-arrive feature:

    1. Have a technician approach a job site.

    2. Check if ServiceTitan automatically marks them as Arrived.

By following these steps, your technicians should auto-arrive at job sites without needing to do anything manually.
