Overview

Drill into customer details to view a customer's contacts, associated locations, performance, and marketing history. Use these insights to better plan and target contacts and leads for your campaigns.


Make sure you’re viewing the correct Marketing Pro content

This article is for Marketing Pro v2. If you are using Marketing Pro, see Manage Marketing Pro Audiences for content specific to your experience.

You can check your version following these steps:

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Marketing A speaker icon representing Marketing in ServiceTitan..

  2. If the side menu under Analytics includes One-Time Campaigns and Automated Campaigns, you're using Marketing Pro v2. If these options aren't visible, you're using Marketing Pro.

Who uses this feature

  • Marketing managers, business owners, and other marketers on your team

  • Primarily benefits Commercial Service and Replacement business types and Residential Service and Replacement business types

  • Applies to all trades

Feature configuration

  • To get started with Marketing Pro, request a demo on our Pro Products page, or reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM) or Pro Account Manager (PAM).

Things to know

  • Marketing Pro customer accounts consist of locations and contacts.

  • Each account has a primary contact. If a primary contact isn't specified, the first created contact is set as the customer's primary contact.

  • The Marketing Performance data that indicates email and direct mail performance combines results from all contacts and locations associated with the customer's account.

Customer Detail overview

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Marketing .

  2. In the side menu, go to Audiences > Contacts.        

    Note: The Residential or Commercial tab opens, depending on which tab includes the larger number of contact records. The same concept applies to the Single Location and Multi-Location tabs.

  3. In the Customers or Leads table, click the contact you want to view details for. Customer contact list showing details for three individuals with highlighted selection.

On the Customer Detail screen that opens, you can:

View Customer information

The Customer Detail screen header displays the following information:

  • Customer Name: The customer's name.

  • Last Updated Date: The most recent date the customer's information was updated.

  • Account Stage: The status of the marketing customer, such as Residential, Commercial, or others.

  • Tags: Labels that help identify and categorize the customer.

View Customer Primary Contact information

The Customer Detail screen includes information about the primary contact associated with the customer account.

Note: If a primary contact isn't specified by the customer, the first created contact is set as the customer's primary contact.

View All Contacts

View a list of contacts for a customer in the All Contacts section of the Customer Detail screen.

In this section, you can:

  • View the following information for each contact:        

    • Name: The contact's name.

    • Role: The role selected for the contact in your customer relationship management (CRM) solution. For example, the contact could be a location contact or billing contact.

    • Email: The email address for the contact.

    • Phone: The phone number for the contact.

    • Mailing Address: The mailing address for the contact.

    • Communication: The type of communications the contact is signed up to receive.

    • Channel: The available contact methods, such as Email if an email address is provided.

  • Click a contact to go to the Contact Detail screen for more information.

View All Service Locations

View the service locations associated with the customer in the All Service Locations section of the Customer Detail screen.

In this section, you can:

  • View the following information for each service location:        

    • Service Location: The location where services are provided.

    • Service Type: The type of service provided.

    • Contact Info: The customer's contact information.

  • Click a service location to go to the Service Location Detail screen for more information.

View Marketing Performance

View performance data for the customer in the Marketing Performance section of the Customer Detail screen.

In this section, you can:

  • View Email Performance metrics including the number of emails sent, unique open rate, number of clicks, and click rate.

  • View Direct Mail Performance metrics, including the number of postcards ordered, printed, shipped, and failed to print.

View historic marketing events

View historical marketing events associated with any location or contact tied to the customer in the All Marketing Activity section of the Customer Detail screen.

In this section, you can:

  • View every employee or system-generated marketing event across all channels, all locations, and all contacts.

  • View more events by clicking View More.

  • Go to a campaign's detail screen by clicking the campaign name.

  • View a marketing email sent by clicking View email.

Export Contact and Location data

  1. On the Customer Detail screen:        

    1. Go to the All Service Locations section to export location information.

    2. Go to the All Contacts section to export contact information.

  2. Click ExportTable displaying service locations, types, and an export option for data management.

A CSV file downloads to your computer containing the data from the table.
