Manage Audit Trail in Enterprise Hub

Overview

Audit Trail allows you to view the log of changes when creating, updating, or deleting users and user roles in Enterprise Hub. View the audit trail to track who made the changes, what those changes were, and when they occurred.


Who uses this feature

  • Administrators

  • Applies to all business types

Feature configuration

  • This feature requires an Enterprise Hub network. Contact your Customer Success Manager to request a network or contact technical support for details.

Grant access to Audit Trail

To grant access to Audit Trail for a role:

  1. In Enterprise Hub, click User Management.

  2. Select Roles.

  3. Either create a new user role or edit an existing user role.

  4. In the EnterpriseHub permissions tab, enable the View permission for Audit Trail.

  5. Click Save Changes. Users assigned this role can now see the Audit Trail module in EnterpriseHub.

Access Audit Trail

Access the audit trail by going to enterprise-hub.servicetitan.com and logging in with your credentials.

  1. Click Audit Trail.

The Audit Trail screen opens.

View Audit Trail

The Audit Trail module lets you view the following information:

  • Date and Time: Date and time when the change to the record occurred

  • Record Name: The record modified

  • Record Type: The type of record

  • Action: The action performed by the user to modify the record

  • Action by (Name): The user who modified the record

  • Details: Lets you view more detailed audit logs on that specific record

Filter the audit trail records

You can filter the audit trail records using the filter dropdowns found at the top of the table. You can filter the records by:

  • Record Name

  • Action by (Name)

  • Action

  • Date range

  • Time range

Click Clear Filters to reset your filter selections.

View audit trail details

To get a more detailed view of changes made to a specific record:

  1. On the Audit Trail screen, find the record you want to view.

  2. Click More Actions.

  3. Click View Record’s Audit Trail for that record.

  4. On the audit trail detailed view screen that opens, review the log of changes made to that record.

  5. (Optional) Use the filter dropdowns to filter the log of changes.

  6. Click View Event Details.

View event details

In the Event Details window that opens, you can view the role's actions. You can also search for the records.
