Problem
ServiceTitan does not automatically display a customer's phone number on invoices. You need a workaround to include this information.
Solution
Currently, there is no direct way to display the customer's phone number on invoices. As a workaround, you can create a custom field for the customer record and add that custom field to the invoice template in Template Manager.
Account configuration is required to use Template Manager. Please contact Technical Support for details.
Create a custom field in the customer record
Create a custom field to include in the customer record for the customer's phone number. For more on creating custom fields, see Use custom fields.
Add the custom field on the invoice template in Template Manager
On the navigation bar, go to Settings
.In the side panel, Operations > Document Templates.
On the Template Manager that opens, find the default invoice template you use and click More
> Make a copy.Note: If your default template is not an Out of Box template, you can skip this step.
Find the invoice template you just copied and click More
> Edit.In the components panel on the side, click and drag the Custom Fields component to the area on the invoice where you want the customer phone number to appear.
On the Component Info panel that opens, click Add Field.
On the Add Custom Field popup that opens, enter the name of the custom field you created for the customer record.
Note: The custom field name you created must match with the name you enter in this field.
Enter a Label if you want to show a label for that field.
When finished, click Save and Publish.
The customer phone number should now display whenever you use that template to print or email your invoice.
