Problem
The recurring service for a membership is set to start 12 months in the future. It needs to start in the month it is activated.
Solution
First, you need to fix the start date on the customer membership. Then make sure that the membership type is also fixed so the issue does not occur in the future.
Change the recurring service start date on the customer membership
Go to the Customer profile.
Click on the Membership that you want to edit.
Edit the membership.
Scroll down to the Recurring Services section.
Change the start date to the membership start date.
Save your changes.
Change the recurring service start date on the membership type
Go to Settings
> Invoicing > Membership Type.Edit the membership type that you want to change.
Click Recurrences.
Click the Event Offset field of the recurring service in question.
Change the offset from 12 months to 0 months to make the recurring service start on the same day the membership is sold to the customer.
Save your changes.
By following these steps, you will adjust the start date of the recurring service to begin in the month it is activated, rather than 12 months in the future.
