Overview

Marketing Pro Autopilot guides you through getting started with Marketing Pro in just two steps. First, confirm the business information that is automatically populated based on your settings. Then, launch the prebuilt campaigns tailored to your business to start marketing to your customers immediately.


Make sure you’re viewing the correct Marketing Pro content

This article is for Marketing Pro. If you are using Marketing Pro v2, see Launch campaigns from the Autopilot Library for content specific to your experience.

You can check your version following these steps:

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Marketing A speaker icon representing Marketing in ServiceTitan..

  2. If the side menu under Analytics includes One-Time Campaigns and Automated Campaigns, you're using Marketing Pro v2. If these options aren't visible, you're using Marketing Pro.

Things to know

  • Marketing Pro Autopilot automatically populates email templates based on your company and brand information in Marketing Pro settings. Update your logo in Brand Settings and your logo and info will be automatically placed into the campaigns. Each ready-to-launch campaign includes a unique audience and features your logo on the content, ensuring your customers see the familiar branding they trust.

  • A unique tracking number is automatically assigned to each Autopilot campaign. Typically, this number is a local one. If a local number is unavailable, a toll-free number is used instead.

  • After you launch your campaigns, you can track their performance using the built-in marketing analytics. You can also make changes to the campaign after launching in Campaign Manager. For more, see Use marketing analytics.

  • The Autopilot Library currently includes both email and SMS campaigns.

Step 1: Confirm company information

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Marketing.

  2. On the Welcome to Marketing Pro screen that opens, click Confirm Information.

  3. Review and confirm your company’s general details as you want them to appear in your marketing campaigns. The general details include:

    Note: Marketing Pro fills in the general details based on your current settings. Any missing information will be highlighted in red, so you can see what information you need to provide.

    • Company Name: The company name that you want to appear on your campaigns.

    • Company Website: The company website that you want to appear on your campaigns.

    • Company Email: The company email address that you want to appear on your campaigns.

    • Address, City, State, and ZIP Code: The company address.
      Note: Address fields may differ depending on your location. For example, customers in the United States will see the ZIP Code and State fields whereas Canadian customers will see the Postal Code and Province fields.

    • Tagline/Slogan: The company tagline or slogan that you want to appear on your campaigns.

    • Year Established: The year the company was established in.

    • Logo: Upload your logo. File types include PNG, JPG, SVG, and JPEG. Logos can be any size, but you’ll get the best results if your logo is at least 180x180 px.

  4. When ready, click Next.

  5. Review the trades automatically selected for your company and select any additional trades that apply.
    Select trades for your business, including HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing options.

  6. When ready, click Next.

  7. Enter the sender information for your outgoing marketing content. This information includes:

    • Sender Name: Enter your sender name. For example, Marketing at Your Company.

    • Sender Domain: Enter your business’s web domain. The marketing emails you send to your customers will appear as coming from the domain you enter in this field plus .servicetitanmail.io. For example, yourcompany.servicetitanmail.io.

    • Sender Email: Enter the email address you want marketing content to originate from. After you enter the sender email address, the sender domain is added automatically. For example, marketing@yourcompany.servicetitanmail.io.

    • Reply-to Email Address: Enter the email address where you want to receive the replies to your marketing content.

  8. When finished, click Save and Continue to return to the Welcome to Marketing Pro screen.

Now that you’ve confirmed your business information, you’re ready to launch your first marketing campaigns.

Step 2: Launch campaigns

Each Autopilot campaign includes a unique audience and features your logo on the content. A unique tracking number is also automatically assigned to each campaign. Typically, this number is local. If a local number isn't available, a toll-free number is used instead.

Note: Ensure your logo appears correctly in the campaign previews before launching any campaigns.

Tip: You can also use Atlas to create personalized campaigns or get recommendations based on your business data. For more, see Use Marketing Pro for Atlas.

  1. On the Welcome to Marketing Pro screen, click Launch to open the Autopilot Library.

  2. In the Autopilot Library, select the campaign you want to launch.        

    Tip: You can also ask Atlas to help you select and customize the Autopilot campaigns.

  3. Review the campaign details on the screen that opens. These details include:        

    • General Details: Tags showing the marketing channel (such as Email or SMS), whether the campaign is automated or one-time, and the campaign's current status.

    • Campaign Type: The kind of campaign.

    • Campaign Description: The purpose of the campaign.

    • Audience Details: Details about who the campaign is targeting.

    • Potential Reach: The forecasted number of customers the campaign may reach.

    • Launch Date: The scheduled launch date. You can adjust this as needed.

    • Stop Trigger: The event that stops the campaign from sending content to customers in the audience. For example, a customer books a job.

  4. (Optional) The campaigns provided are ready to launch as-is. If needed, you can make the following changes:        

    • Click Edit with Atlas to open the Atlas chat panel and refine the campaign's audience, messaging, or targeting using natural language. For more, see Use Marketing Pro for Atlas.

    • Update the Launch Date. By default, the launch date is set to today.

    • Edit the campaign text. To do this:                

      1. Click Edit A simple icon in the shape of a pencil. on the text block you want to change.

      2. Update the text as needed. You can also add merge tags and hyperlinks.

      3. Click to keep the change or click to cancel.

    • Replace the images. To do this:                

      1. Hover your cursor over the image and click Replace .

      2. Select an image file from your computer and confirm it appears correctly in the preview.

      3. Click to keep the change or click to cancel.

    Tip: Click Revert to Original to restore the original campaign settings at any time.

    Caution: If you use Phones Pro, you must assign a tracking number in the Advanced Editor before launching. See Assign a tracking phone number in the Launch campaigns from the Autopilot Library article for steps.

  5. If all looks good, click Launch Campaign. For more advanced changes, click Edit in Advanced Builder to create an editable copy. For more, see Edit an Autopilot Campaign in Advanced Builder in the Launch campaigns from the Autopilot Library article.

Your campaign is scheduled. Autopilot automatically creates and assigns a tracking number so you can capture and track customer calls. To view your campaign, click View Campaign.
